For many children in Liberia, it would not be possible to attend school without receiving at least one nutritious meal a day. Thanks to the United Nations World Food Programme, hundreds of thousands of children get the opportunity of an education that will help lift themselves and their families out of dire poverty.
This short documentary looks at the aftermath of Liberia’s civil war and the impact that a simple school meal can have on young children and their families. It is currently featured online at The World Food Programme’s Youtube Channel as well as at the Help Liberia Foundation’s website.
