Since 2000, I’ve taught undergraduate and graduate students at universities and international agencies in North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. As an educator for artists and idealists, I help empower groups and individuals to create positive social change and to communicate more effectively through art, design, digital media, online tools, and more.

Universities & Organizations I’ve Taught For Include:

Currently based in Rome, Italy (since 2024), I support universities, international organizations, and individuals by teaching and consulting on art, design, communication, online presence, social media, and business skills. Prior to returning to Rome, I spent nearly a decade living and working in Myanmar and Malawi, collaborating with organizations such as WHO, UNICEF, CDC, UNDP, WFP, and others to build capacity and empower storytelling through diverse media.

From 2017-2019 I taught ICT at Thalun International School in Yangon and was recently Associate Professor of Digital Media at American University of Myanmar (2016-2018). I’m also formerly a tenured core faculty member at The American University of Rome (2006-2016) where I co-founded the Digital Media Track of its Communication program.

Since 2014 I’ve taught 90K online students in 191 countries via online platforms as well as through the UN-mandated University, The University For Peace in Costa Rica. See my self-paced video online courses here.
