I’m about to head to the USA over the weekend.

Things have been busy here in Lilongwe, Malawi with teaching live courses and helping UN organizations with their design and communications, but I’m almost ready for the 30+ hour journey (and finally catching up on all those movies I’ve missed this past year!)

That said, it has been exciting to be a part of new live and virtual art shows that are now open.

I got goosebumps when I saw the photos and video of a new 3-person show I am in going up last week.

“Remedy: How We Heal” features work from myself and Boston-area artists Bill Porter and Stacey Piwinski. The exhibition will run from June 10th through July 14th and there will be an opening reception on Saturday, July 1st from 1-3pm. Let us know if you can make it here

Healing Show. Healing Music

We are so excited to have Kimberly Ferrara of Divine Seva of Somerset, MA. who will be at the opening reception with us doing some sample healing Tibetan-style music to help us get the vibes just right.

We hope to see you there at the amazing Narrows Center for the Arts which has galleries, art studios, and is a popular concert venue, all in a former textile mill building! How’s that for ambiance? More info can be found here: https://www.narrowscenter.org/remedy-how-we-heal/

Some of my originals have already sold before the show opened but if you have had your eye on something, now is the time to inquire Carpe diem!

As most of my work is in the US now, the prices are the best they will ever be as no shipping from Malawi is required.  “A Girl’s Education” (top left in the photo above) was recently claimed, but I am so excited to send her to her new home in Massachusetts, USA after the show ends.

A sneak-peek of the show being set up last week…

New Virtual Exhibition Is Also Open

Nine artists from around the globe tackle the subject of spiritual art. What Do We Know is a new virtual exhibition, running from 3-30 June, “exploring spiritual art and its multitude of feelings, experiences, viewpoints and forms of expression.”

Come see the show, even if you are in your pajamas! That’s the beauty of an online show. Visit here.

Well, that’s all for now. I hope you are staying well. Thanks so much for keeping up with my art. It means the world to me.

All best wishes,
Kristen
