No Gallery Lighting? No Problem!
Summer is slowly drawing to a close and I always struggle this time of year to say goodbye. One of my favorite Summer 2026 memories is my second solo art show in Rome.
In mid July, I had the chance to lead a creative session for an Erasmus mindfulness and creativity project, in collaboration with TuSai, working with a group of French and Italian teenagers ages 14 to 19 in Ostia Antica.
Up and Down in Just a Few Hours
I built a special private interactive multisensory exhibition of sacred geometry and ancient healing symbols, held under the stars, for this particular group in this particular space. My two sons were part of it too.
I really loved making this spontaneous show. It came together and came down again within a few hours, which is not the first time I have worked this way. A similar one night solo show in Rome last November, held in a Vatican-owned church inside The Carpegna Palace Hotel, followed the same approach.
It was very rewarding, and I am happy to have been part of it. This kind of work sits right at the intersection of what I care about most professionally: art, education, and cross-cultural exchange.
