No, I don’t mean these kinds of video business cards (the pricey kind that include a screen and need to be recharged.)
When I made my first video business card it actually was just a short 30 second video that I then used across my social media profiles to better introduce myself, explain who I am, what I do, and how I can help. Anyone can make one though it is challenging trying to decide what you will say in such a short amount of time. The best advice I can give you is stick to ONE major goal and message.
This is a sample lesson from an upcoming online course called “Create Powerful Short Video & Animation For Social Media.” Learn how to use lean, mean short video and animation across social media to boost your online reach and impact.
In this lesson I use my own video business card as a case study and discuss some useful do’s and don’ts for creating one yourself.
The high quality yet affordable equipment I used to make my video business card were the Samson Go Mic Portable USB Condenser Microphone, the Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920, and my video editing and screen-capture software is ScreenFlow 5.
